Hom Jones - Taffsea’s favourite Boyo
An intriguing Hob Goblin from Taffsea who used to be one of the most deplorable members of ‘The Boyos’ Hom now commands mainly in the Kartöffelberg region where many regiments serve for Albion. Aside from being a General, Jones also moonlights as a famous theatre performer and has headlined the Dreary Lane Theatre in Londinium during the summer season for many years.
Sporting such tuneful hits as ‘Why me Delilorc?’, ‘Its quite Unusual’, ‘She’s no Lady’ and ‘Where’s that Puss at?’ have resulted in him being buried up to his magnificent permed hair in corsets and underskirts frequently thrown on stage by his female fans. Indeed while in the field the General often belts out these tunes and has several troopers with him to carry his sequined and bare chest outfits and the sacks of fan mail he receives by sloop each week.

This set is a limited edition miniature and comes in a numbered pack with an insert containing all details of this pack for gaming in Slaughterloo and Flintloque. The production run of this miniature set is limited to 1000 numbered sets after which the molds containing the set will be destroyed.
Uniform Details
The general is a bit of a fashion icon and does not wear a typical Britorcn officers uniform. He has a green or purple shirt, open necked with a large golden medallion, red or maroon trousers and black boots. His skin is orange and his mane of hair black. The lovely Delilorc is dressed in a white bodice and purple skirt.
Flintloque Stats
In Flintloque Hom Jones and his set are treated as follows.
Hom Jones is a Hob Goblin of Veteran / Regular status riding a Ram. He is armed with no conventional weapon.
During play Hom uses his powerful voice to intimidate and terrify his enemies. He may select one target per Turn, within 30cm, and sing at them. The target must make a ‘Wounded’ Morale test at a -2 Modifier and abide by the result. Additionally the large gold medallion he wears about his chest often absorbs shots and attacks against him. All ranged fire aimed at Hom suffers a one negative column shift against it and all melee attacks against Hom suffer a -2 to the attackers die roll. Finally all friendly Hob Goblins within Line of Sight of Hom gain a +1 to all Morale rolls.
With all equipment and skills his Points Cost is 52 Points.
Delilorc the female fan who adores Hom Jones enough to go to war with him is treated as a Hob Goblin of Average / Militia status. She carries a rolled chyna fan with her which counts as a small improvised weapon. While within 25cm of Hom she need take no Morale Tests for any reason. She costs 15 Points
The sack of fan mail is a useful and unique battlefield object and can be used as an objective in your games.

In battle Hob Jones sings to inspire his troops. As a result all enemy battalions in earshot have a manic desire to try and kill him. All enemy Units shooting at Units under Hob Jones’s command within 45cm of the General must deduct 25% of their Attack Points when shooting to represent their efforts to hit the General instead, which they always fail to do. Unfortunately any friendly Unit within 30cm of the General must deduct –1 to its Form and Morale due to the ear bashing it is receiving.
